Floodhound reference

Floodhound was originally with the USNC fighting the brutes in New Mombasa, until the whole area was overrun by the flood. 15,000 men we're killed and the remaining brutes retreated. Floodhound was helping to clear up the damage and tend to the wounded, one of which had multiple flood infestations but did not show any symptoms of the infection. Floodhound went to pick up the writhing officer when he was attacked by the two infection-type flood that were hiding in the officer's body.

Floodhound remains in control of his thoughts and actions, and not under those of the Gravemind becuase of the confusion caused by the two simultaneous infections. The two flood now live in symbiosis with eachother and Floodhound. He cannot live without the infestation because most of his bodily functions have been shut down: his ability to heal, breathe, grow (hair or nails), or reproduce. He also has no need to sleep, and he does not bleed. Only 1/16 of his blood remains in his body.

The flood infestations allow Floodhound to change shape after certain amounts of minerals are consumed. As well as the basic form shown here, Floodhound also has a flight form, speed form, combat/assult form, and the unstable berserker form.
